2022 Mega Group National Convention

The 2022 RECONNECT National Convention is your chance to RECONNECT with your peers and transform your business with powerful insights from the latest in today’s market.

Inventory Issues? Case Goods Vendors Come to Vegas With Eye Toward 2023
Despite a long list of concerns surrounding inflation, recession, inventory levels, logistics and the like, case goods exhibitors here remained upbeat here as their dealers filled in gaps for the fall selling season and began planning for 2023 in earnest.

Most exhibitors characterized showroom traffic as light to moderate — typical for a summer market in Las Vegas — but said those who showed up were eager to buy.

In many cases, exhibitors said retail buyers had a smaller-than-usual “open to buy” authority at market due to high inventory levels, but they still needed product to fill gaps in certain categories and keep sales floors fresh.
