Why Are Gas Ranges Being Banned?
There is a push toward banning gas ranges throughout the country. Fifty-three cities in California have bans on gas ranges with limited temporary exemptions. New York just banned gas ranges in multi-unit buildings. In Massachusetts, the Attorney General struck down an all-encompassing ban on gas cooking appliances in Brookline. However, new pending legislation would allow ten communities to restrict fossil fuel. The question is, why and why now? In this article, you will learn why gas stoves are being banned.
