CITT says Canadian producers injured by PRC imports
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has determined imports of motion furniture and leather stationary upholstery from the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam have materially injured producers of similar products in this country, paving the way for long-term anti-dumping duties to be levied against them.

Young consumers buy new mattresses more frequently, survey says Consumers are replacing their mattresses at about the age and they expect a quality mattress to last, a Better Sleep Council consumer study reveals. The survey found that consumers expect a quality mattress to last for a mean of 9.5 years and replaced their previous mattress after a mean of nine years. It also found that the consumers’ age, gender, and metro status, among other factors, affect their mattress replacement patterns.
Understanding Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation
Often referred to as CASL or Bill C-28, Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation is a federal law created to protect consumers against the misuse of commercial electronic communications, including spam and other electronic threats. However, the legislation expands further than simply regulating “spam” as CASL consists of a consent-based system which is applied to all electronic messages sent with commercial purpose.
